History
Welcome Home, Inc. was founded by Janelle Tamez in 2004. Janelle serves as the company's Chief Executive Officer. She has over 17 years of relevant experience in the development and management of community-based services for individuals with mental retardation in both public and private settings. The administrative team averages over 10 years experience each serving individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
What We Offer
Welcome Home, Inc. provides Home and Community-based Services services to individuals with mental retardation who either live with their family, in their own home, in a foster/companion care setting or in a residence within their community of choice with no more than four individuals also receiving services. Welcome Home, Inc. provides services to meet the individual's needs so that he/she can maintain him/herself in the community and have opportunities to participate as a citizen to the maximum extent possible. Welcome Home utilizes an Individual Service Plan/Person Directed Plan to determine the goals, services, and supports needed by the individual to ensure his/her health and welfare in the community and to prevent institutional placement.
Administration
| Welcome Home's Administrative Team consists of the Chief Executive Officer, the President, the Program Administrator, the Human Resources Director, the Nurse, Case Management, and various professional consultants. This team works collaboratively to ensure the provision of quality services through the selection of competent support staff and consultants and by providing comprehensive and continuous training.
Welcome Home, Inc. employs dedicated Direct Support Staff who work directly with Case Management and the Program Administrator to ensure the continued happiness, growth, and success of each consumer.

Welcome Home's Administrative Support Team ensures the efficient operation of the office by assisting with organization, time management, scheduling and maintaining a steady revenue stream through accurate billing for services rendered as well as the meticulous accounting of all monies received or disbursed. |
